New Host - Something is wrong with my Ad

Hello everyone!  Writing to seek help and suggestions here.  I am new to Airbnb and fortunately just got my first guest as of this writing.  My place up for Airbnb guest has 2 rooms - 1 room for couple and the other room has 4 bunkbeds for individuals with the price of 504 per bed/head for an overnight stay.

My problem is I thought I had the price for 504 per head/night.  When I read my first booking, I got a price of 455 (discounted for the first guest) and number of guest is 5 people.  So I am going to earn 455 for the price of 5 people.  Something must be wrong with my ad because the guest thought the price of 455 for the entire room.

Please I need advice.

Thanks,

Corinne

Hi Corrine, Your listing really doesn't make it very clear what's going on. While it does say share house, you don't specify that the price is per person at all. I could hardly fault the guest for thinking it's the price for the entire accommodation. You also have it set as, in my currency, 8AUD extra per guest, compared to the 14AUD I'm assuming you meant per person/bed. I also don't see the second room you are supposedly listing.
