Night Shift Workers

Hi, could anyone advise me on what they do about hosting people who work nights?  So I have had a few recently where they arrive at 8.30am and leave for work around 7pm.  This means that I have to book out my room for 2 nights. I have to make sure the room is ready in the morning and so cannot book anyone else in that room the night before and then it is too late for a new guest to arrive that evening if the night shift worker doesnt leave the room until 7pm.  Should I charge the night shift worker for 1 or 2 nights.  I have been charging them for the 1 night so far

Hello @Karin123. It all depends how generous you are. Once the hosts here had a discussion on early check-ins and late check-outs and most agreed that charges should apply.

Hi @Karin123 ,

I hosted night workers before, they checked in late afternoon, went to work and they all left before 15:00 (3 pm) the next day (because they want to go home !)

Best, Emiel
