No Payment Today [as normal]

My guest checked in yesterday. She made her reservation on the 14th of November and is a fairly frequent AirBNB guest. I have still not been paid. Generally, the payment comes through at 8:30am the day after checkin. My account shows her payment as pending.

 

Anyone else surprised by a non-payment today?

@Susan151  830am is very early in my world... most ABB payments don't show up here until late afternoon

my airbnb payment arrives the day after check-in at around 2pm. 

my experience payments are a lot more random... usually arriving around 7pm the night after the experience booking BUT sometimes taking 2 days to arrive.

@Stephanie  İ do have a similar case where the payment for a reservation has not come in even though the guest checked out almost 1 week ago, by filling a case with CS they keep telling me that is because they still collecting the money from the guest though İ was never advised  they guest had not fully paid, İ found out until after the checkout when İ opened the case. The guest made the reservation and an update on it 1 week before their checkin, so İ am not sure how come in 1 week in advance it was not caught that the payment had not been completed and the system allowed the reservation to go through to after the checkout find out the payment was not completed, this was almost 2 weeks after the reservation had been made.

So İ am wondering  if there is any chance  that you could provide me any support on this, İ know you are not from CS team, but if somehow you can provide any help to me with CS İ would appreciate it so much, thanks a lot in advance!

@Stephanie Hola Stephanie, thanks a bunch for your assistance on my issue :).

After other couple of calls to Airbnb CS, I got an email on Saturday that my payment had finally been released, I have not received the actual payment on my bank account yet though I am suspecting it will make it through during today, so I think no followup is required at this point. Thanks a bunch for your help, time  and willingness to help me either way!, wish you a very nice day!

That's almost what I was about to tell you - the team let me know the collection issue was resolved (where Airbnb get the cash from the guest) and that the payment had been processed to you. If you don't see it appear in your account within the next 5 days, feel free to give me a nudge again!

Mine comes through somewhere between 5 and 7 days after the guest checks in! Five days if the payment is released early in the week.....seven days if it is released on a Thursday or Friday. We all know the finance industry takes our funds for a spin around the block on weekends!

I would not even dream of getting my funds the day after the guest checks-in.

I do with Stayz, but never but ever on Airbnb!

My payments have the exact same pattern as yours - possibly a day quicker.  (I've recently been keeping tabs on them, given all the threads on here about delays.)

 

I'm assuming when hosts talk about "the payment" coming through the day after check-in, they actually mean the email telling us that the payment has been released... ?  I certainly don't get actual funds hitting my bank account the day after check-in.

 

No. Pat. For reference... I had an 2.5 hour experience yesterday from 1:30pm to 4pm EST. At 9:30pm the same night, I got the email saying a payout has been sent and I should receive it the next day... the day after the scheduled experience booking. 

It's always like that with the experience payments and emails. 

 

With regular airbnb payments, the payment generally arrive in my paypal acct BEFORE I even get the payout email! It's weird but I am not complaining. LOL

 

The quickness of the payment may have something to do with my being in the USA? I noticed most of you who are saying payments are not the next day, are from other countries. BG, AU etc etc etc

@Robin4  @Patricia55  in my case the payment is dona via bank transference, İ always receive them email notification that the payment has been released the day after the guest checkin and the following day (2 days after the guest checkin) İ get the payment reflected on my bank account, unless there is a weekend in between which pushes dates to the next working day, it always works like this to me. İn the case of my issue,  as the payment was not coming 3 days after İ sent a message to CS team and on the 4th day after the checkin which was actually the date of the guest checkout they  told me they had not released the payment to my bank account because the guest did not complete the full payment.  So İ basically found out they didnt charge the whole amount to the guest on the day they checked out and only because İ opened the CS ticket, if not probably İ would still be waiting what is going on.

İ have called abd sent messages to the CS and it seems they decided to ignore me now :(, 48 hrs ago İ have sent messages and no response at all, it is so frustrating!

I recently started receiving payments the day after check-in when it usually took 2-3 days.
