OK for non-member guest to check in first?

Hi, everyone! I'm having a hard time finding an answer to this question so I am putting it out there. The person who made the reservation (Guest A) is coming with two other guests, which is fine. She will be arriving at 7 p.m. with Guest B. Guest C is coming separately, and will arrive before Guests A and B. Is that okay, or does that go against Airbnb policy?

I'm asking because Guest A is an Airbnb member, while Guest C is not. Is it a requirement that the Airbnb member check in before non-member guests, or does it matter?

I hope this makes sense. Thanks for any advice you can offer!

Laurie C.

Is room/apt booked for 3? If so, then yes as long as you validate via AirBnB messaging to Guest A the name(s) of Guest B & C and that they can check-in before Guest A. Why? Because then that is an addendum to the contract Guest A made w/you via AirBnB and they won't be able (easily) to weasel out of it by saying "I didn't tell you they could come/check in!"

You would be protected...BUT ONLY by AirBnB messaging!

@Jann3 Thank you very much! Exactly what I needed to know. Much appreciated!
