One toothbrush pack or two?

Hi everyone, I decided to replace my big tube of toothpaste in the guest bathroom with individually wrapped toothbrush and small toothpaste. I allow only 2 guests, but am wondering if I need to leave two toothbrush packs (one for each) or do you think one pack is sufficient?

I know this is a small question, but I am assuming the packs will be taken with the guests for other travels if they are not used here. I am also doing the same with small bars of soap individually wrapped. I'd appreciate any opinions.

@Kate157 - What a generous thing to do!  I am always astonished when I see a free toothbrush at a host's home.  Forgetting toothpaste, I get, but forgetting to bring your toothbrush?!  Personally,  I would put out the number of packs based on the number of guests.  So if 1 guest - one pack, 2 guests - 2 packs and replenish as they get used or taken.  Sharing a toothbrush ... not for me even if it is with my husband.

Why don't you leave both the large toothpaste AND toothbrush+paste pack (I think it should be 1 pack per person). I'm sure your guests will really appreciate the little considerations you provide to make their stay more comfortable~

The only reason I'm suggesting you leave both is personal - I usually like to travel with my own (electric) toothbrush, so when I see the toothbrush+paste pack I've always felt like it's a waste to open one of those just to use the toothpaste. I usually have toothpaste too, but travel tubes are small and I often forget to replace the one in my travel kit. On last-minute short 1~2 night trips there were a few times I forgot to pack my toothbrush and was really happy to see those little packs in the bathroom - they were a total lifesaver!

What I do in my listing is, I have the large tube of toothpaste visible on the bathroom counter and I mention that there are a few (usually 2, although I host only one guest at a time. my listing is a single occupancy private room) extra toothbrush+paste packs in the bathroom cabinet (next to where the hair dryer is) if they happen to need a toothbrush as well. I travel a lot for work and my company usually lets me book nice(r) hotels with good amenities so I've come into the habit of bringing these back home as back-up for guests. 🙂
