Optional Extra Services?

Does Airbnb have facility to allow hosts to offer optional extra services (for a fee) such as breakfast baskets, dinners etc and if so given such services are a COST to the host, like CLEANING (which Airbnb do not charge fees on), do Airbnb charge fees on these optional extra services?

Yes, many hosts do this through the Resolution Center. It's the same area we charge for things like damage, so I like to give guests a heads up that it's not a bad thing 😉

You can select "extra services" as the reason for charge.

Thanks Allison, but that's not a viable solution or option. The extra services I referred to are services a guest would be required to book/request at the same time their booked their accommodation and pay for in advance. As I see it the guest would have to request I send them a special offer, in which case I'm asking, would Airbnb treat this like the cleaning fee and not charge fees... It would be listed as a separate entry in any special offer.

In that case, no - if you're including the extra services in your lodging rate Airbnb will charge their host and guest fee off the total.

Many hosts have suggested this feature be added - you can lend your support through Host Voice. There are several requests that have been archived (which I think must be similar to trashed), but this one looks active:
