Possible problem with special offer

Hi folks,

 

I offered a guest a special deal on prices, which we both agreed on. He arrives in early September.

 

However, he has just messaged me to say that the original price is still showing up at his end as the amount he has to pay. As the difference between the two prices is quite a lot, I want to make sure he pays the lower, special deal price.

 

How can I ensure that he pays the special offer and not the original price?

We are in the same boat.

Guest is staying 369 days at special rate. The website refuses to allow her to book at a lower rate calculated specially.

Furthermore, the website refuses to acknowledge the fact that we have cancelled the original request and want to start afresh. This is so complicated it forces one to deal outside Airbnb which is a great pity because both parties want to be protected by the system.

Could admin please advise

Sounds like your guest has seen the Special Offer, but not clicked to accept it. They need to do that to change the pricing.
