RE- CANCELLATION AND PRICE TIPS

I recently used the price tips for May only , or so I thought.  The next morning I get an instant booking for Christmas week 2017.. I was horrified. I did not change my prices for the other months... May only. 

So I sent an adjustment to the guest and they refused it. So I cancelled and now Airbnb has blocked off my week. So not only did I lose what little money I was getting , now I loose the whole week as well.  

I need to call someone.  where do I find Airbnb phone number...

i have found that there are a few glitches with Airbnb. what you did was activate price tips on your settings and so your prices across the board was re-set. you should contact Airbnb (call, don't email) and discuss with them. they're pretty friendly and helpful. their Host Cancellation Policy allows for some discretion in "extenuating circumstances" so they might be able to review their blocking policy for your listing.

@Jessa1 go to the home page of the Community Center.  Click on Get Support.  There you will see the Community Help Guides.  There is a section for how to contact Airbnb, including phone numbers.

When you change prices and settings, i like to search for my own home some random dates just to see what Airbnb is posting. Sometimes you can see if there are errors.

Do not worry, I am sure VRBO will  find someone for you. Maybe you could tell Airbnb that you might have to try vrbo since the dates are blocked. I am sure Airbnb might forgive you.Send them a tweet on twitter @airbnbhelp

Thank you for all the help from the community. Yesterday, I finally got through to the help centre by phone and yup I was right, there was a glitch, so Airbnb opened up my calendar and did not penalize me.  I love you Airbnb.
