I am glad to read in the news that Airbnb has reversed its discrimination attempt against Israelis so it is not hypocritical and stays consistent to it’s own Airbnb policy that we are all suppose to adhere to and that is no discrimination of any kind!
Thank you Airbnb for choosing consistency as a company!
This has already been posted about @Michelle1534
Airbnb did not do this voluntarily - they were taken to court by a group of Jewish Americans to force them to accept hosts in the illegally occupied area.
Sadly it means that Israeli hosts in the illegally occupied West Bank will be able to continue to host on land that has been taken by force from its Palestian occupants whose families had lived there for centuries..
Many in the global community feel companies and individuals should not profit on lands where people have been displaced.

I am glad to see that Airbnb has committed to not taking any profits generated by hosts in these areas but will instead donate this income to local not for profits.
@Helen3, nicely said. Actually, I didn't know that Airbnb was donating its profits from hosts in these areas - I guess that's something at least. But honestly, I'm a bit baffled by some of the responses I've seen regarding this 'victory'. As you say, its illegally occupied territory...
