Reservation declined but apparently, payment was processed

Hello,

I am a new host on Airbnb.

 

Recently, I declined a request for reservation,  and 1 week later, that same person said that the payment went through anyways.

 

Checking my bank account and Airbnb progress on payments,  I have no payments at all for this event. If it is true that they were charged, how do I proceed to reimburse? Who should reimburse since I don't hanve any records of getting paid. Should they contact Airbnb or me?

@Joannie2: You never receive payment until roughly two days after a guest check-ins. If they have money beig held its on Airbnb and your "almost" guest needs to take it up with Airbnb directly.

This is an ABB issue, they need to be contacted by guest, Nothing to do with you now. Cheers
