Scam reservation request?

Someone asked to reserve for an extended period of time but the description dates dont match the dates selected on calendar. Said they need to be in town due to hospitalized child in near by community. Is this a familiar saga to other hosts? red flag???

Red flag, @Teri32. Might be a competitor as well who want you to block the calendar. Sounds fishy to me.
