Setting different cancellation policies for different dates?

I'm brand new to hosting, just launched on Air Bnb a week ago. 

 

My question is: will it be possible to set a different Cancellation Policy depending on the season/ date? 

 

We're in Somerset, United Kingdom, and our Air Bnb has 10 bedrooms and sleeps 23 - 25. We're convenient accommodation for the Glastonbury Festival - a five-day event in June that attracts some 250,000 visitors each year in this part of the UK which has a chronic shortage of hotels and visitor accommodation.  Our pricing for Glastonbury Festival week, therefore, is considerably higher than other weeks of the year, given the huge demand. 

 

At the moment, my Cancellation Policy is Strict all year round as I anticipate difficulty re-booking a property of this size if the original booking is cancelled at short notice.  However, for Glastonbury week, I would like to upgrade to Super-Strict, to avoid losing ££££ on a cancellation which occurs just seven days prior to the Festival.

 

Does Air Bnb have any plans to introduce flexibility with the setting of Cancellation Policies?

You could search in the "Host voice" section of this site to see if anyone has suggested flexibility in policy selection. If you see a post there you can give it a thumbs up or start your own conversation if there isn't one there already. Airbnb syas that posts with a sufficient number of thumbs up will be considered for implementation. What constitutes "sufficient" I don't know.

To find the section click on "Discuss" at the top of these pages and select "Host voice" from the menu.

 

The super strict policies are available only by invitation from Airbnb. I've never seen any reference to how the invitation decision is arrived at.
