I’m new to the site, Is it smarter to list my Holiday home for Thanksgiving through New Years or break it up into multiple shorter stays? Thank you for your opinions.
That would probably depend on whether you are capable of doing frequent turnovers for multiple shorter stays and your personal preference.
As a host, I prefer guests who stay several weeks to several months and I am the minority as many hosts on the CC seem to prefer multiple shorter stays. Based on other posts I've seen here on the CC, I think the majority of hosts will focus on attracting guests staying 2~5 nights and will not allow stays longer than 2 or 3 weeks.
Yes.So do I.I am much prefer the short-term rental than 2-5 nights.
@Dave399 It seems to me that the majority of guests, unless they are on an extended holiday, wouldn't be booking for that long. People either get away for Thanksgiving, Xmas or New Years, but not likely the whole period, as most people have work or school committments.
