Stop Hosting and contact email or details for AirBnB

Hi there,

I need to stop hosting due to a series of operations coming up, however I do have some future bookings that I need to cancel and from what I've read in the cancellation policies I may be banned from AirBnB since it is more than 3, although they are future bookings. I do intend to re-host again once I am rehabilitated, however I cannot find an email or contact number for AirBnB. And I am also no inclined to share my private medical records with AirBnB. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I should approach this?

@Victoria576,

If you do not want to be penalized by Airbnb for the cancellations, the only option is to contact them and explain situation. They can cancel your bookings penalty free, but maybe you will have to share some evidence with them regarding your situation.

Contact info is in here, including phone number:

Hope this helps,

Hi Victoria, I am sorry to hear of your medical issues and the situation that puts you in with your hosting.

Firstly, go to your listing editing page and 'Snooze' your listing! This will remove it from search results which will give your explanation more credence with CS.

Omce you have done that, phone Customer Support  on......... 02 85203333 (that is the Sydney number) and explain your situation. You won't have to go into medical records but explain that hospitalization will require your listing to be out of action for a while.

CS will relocate your existing bookings or refund them and there will be no black marks against your name.

All the best Victoria I hope all works out OK for you!

Cheers.....Rob
