Superhost Status dropping for no Good Reason

Sorry to say, this has been a problam for over a year that Airbnb is not been able to fix?

Please read below:

A Host who has multiple listings (even if 2 rooms in their home) will be penalized by having their "Superhost status badge" that they work so hard for....removed for 3 weeks if they live in NY or California (even with a flawless record). Airbnb says their account has to be reviewed manually and takes 2 to 3 weeks?Correct me if I'm wrong... this seems incredibly unjust. What is the incentive to host more than one room, making more business for Airbnb and their hosts? I always kept up with my 99% perfect rating to keep my SH status badge from falling off. Now, I'm only partially rewarded with it? This is ridiculous and very upsetting. A lot of my guests that I host,  only stay at "superhost" status homes,  so this is affected me renting.

I really hope someone can take this to a higher up who cares this issue, this is a real problem and should be fixed.Somebody has to understand that this is not good businesI done and do everything in my power to do an incredible job and keep Airbnb here in NYC. I was even on the front lines of City Hall to support Airbnb when I was needed. I also hold meetings at my home with "AirbnbNYC" to support my fellow hosts.

Right now,  it's been over 3 weeks since my "SuperHost Badge" was removed and no sign of it coming back.  My reviews are 5 star in every catorgory and it donsn't matter.  Treating a valued host in this manner makes one less to recommend Airbnb,  support Airbnb and keep up their 5 star status.

I really hope Airbnb changes their stand on this and see this as a real problem,

I do appreciate any help in this unfair matter.

John

I see this same thing for a week or two every quarter during the Superhost "Evaluation Period". Try looking at your profile on a PC or phone where you are NOT the logged in airbnb user during this period. When I look at my profile, logged in as myself, the Superhost badge is not there (for a week or two each quarter). If I look at my profile logged in as any other user I still see the SH badge.

I am sorry to hear this as Air has a great many loyal hosts who promote, rave about how good it is, fight for it, answer questions on the forum, encourage hosts and guests to keep at it etc. As you have done! Reward your loyal hosts, don't punish unjustly.
