How do I share my superhost status or badge on Facebook?

Yes Rosita it is certainly possibly to share you badge on Facebook. Here is how you do it!

Go to your profile picture on your Dashboard, the one in the top right corner of the screen and a drop down menu will appear. On that drop down menu, click on Account Settings.  On the left side, down towards the bottom, you will see Badges.  Click on it and you will see a variety of things you can embed on Facebook. Amongst those will be your Superhost.....

The other thing you can do is take a screenshot of that congratulatory email that you recieved and post that as a picture on your Facebook page with a bit of text. I did that when I first got mine a year or so ago...I was so proud of it then!!

Hi Rob, I got an HTML code from the Superhost badge section. But when I posted it on Facebook, it only shows "Top 20 Negombo rentals". There's no option to share it on Facebook 😞 I'll take a screen shot of the Airbnb email and share on Facebook, as you suggested. Many thanks for your response. We are very excited on getting the badge!

Yeah that is what I did Rosita. If you are working from a PC computer take a screenshot of that email, paste it to a new Word doc and save it as a PNG image in your pictures. You can now delete the word doc, you don't need it any more and open the PNG image in 'Paint' and then click 'select' and just crop the actual mail itself without all the rest of the shot and then click save.

You will find by doing that Facebook will accept that PNG file as a photo and it will be there on your Facebook page for all to see.

The other path I mentioned to you I last tried a year or more ago and so many changes are happening to the platform that I should have thought to try it again before I did that post....sorry about that.

Hi @Robin4, thanks, that's exactly what I did. I think the "share on FB" option is available on the Airbnb app that you use on your phone but once I shared it on Fb, there was an "internal error" message showing up in the description of the post, which looks very odd.

That's true, I tried it myself and came to the same result. Yesterday I tried it with the message I got from Airbnb (that I'm a Superhost), but it showed error message as well....

Hi Ana, I tried sharing the news on FB via the Airbnb app, but kept getting the same "internal error" message 😞 Hope they fix the problem soon.
