I have a possible guest asking for the address of my property because (he says) that as a serving US military employee, he's required to tell his bosses where he is on vacation.
I do understand why this might be but I'm reticent to do so as it may be contrary to Airbnb rules.
Yes, he can give the physical address as soon as he checks in to the Duty Officer at the military base. Make him show his military ID card, too, to make sure he is actually in the military. He must have this ID card on him at all times.
Here in Spain, Airbnb is getting flak from lobby groups employed by hotel operators. They are trying to legislate that home owners need to pay for a license to take in Airbnb guests. Which by law, we don't.
They send out enquiries to us to try to get us to reveal our addesses so they can fine us for not having a license that by law, we don't need to have!!!
