Update from Airbnb sent without my approval

I sent a request to book yesterday. This morning I checked to see if the host had responded, but instead, I see that Airbnb sent an update to the host that I no longer needed the accommodation for the dates selected—which is not the case. I did not send out any other requests to book the same dates or location, I have no idea why this message would have been sent. Concerned that now there is confusion with the host about accepting my request to book—has anyone else had this problem with an auto-update from Airbnb?

 

I contacted the host and let her know that the auto-update was sent in error and that we would still like to book her place. Not sure if it is better to wait and see what happens or cancel the request and re-submit?
