Hi! I am an American, living in Switzerland. I was just updating my profile, and I noticed:

Add Vat ID Number

For European Union users or users in other countries for which VAT applies, VAT will be assessed on our Service Fees. If you live in a country where we need to charge VAT, you will not be charged VAT if you enter a valid VAT ID Number. Visit VAT FAQs »

So, we, the host, are paying for each of our bookings. I know. But, should we be? I'm also asking because I know AirBnB is a HOT TOPIC here in Switzerland...they are NOT too happy about it.
