When a guest asks to leave his luggage for couple more hours after check out, does he has to return

home keys back? For example, my check out time for the guests  is 12:00 midday. Guest asks to keep the luggage till 13:30 because his train is late, and he has no place for the luggage etc. And doesn't wanna give me keys back saying: " I will return at 13:30". And the next guest's check in is 14:00. What would be right to do? Because if the previous guest with the key doesn't return in time, means I run out of additional key for the next client. Or better not to serve their luggage at all. The less service, the better? Do not do good, do not get back bad?

@Alon1 I totally understand you. That's why I always press on any member of my family to keep everything in order. I am the one who will be requiring to sign the WILL paper before you are even born. My family tells me I wanna bury them all. But, at least, I know at what price.

@Alon1, if I have read it correctly, she wants people to be surprised and cancel so she doesn't have to host them yet gets to keep the money. Well, we all have varied styles of hosting.

@Sandra126 But, my stable clients are guys and girls who wanna save on business trips and they write me: "Olga, we have read all 10 pages of rules. We are fine with them". And yesterday I have listened to one superhost in US. He has long listing also. And secret word BANANAMAMA by the end of the description. And when guests are requesting for property, he is asking them for this secret word))))

why did You let Your guest keep the key? Check-out time ist key return time.

I faced such situation a first time when the girl is staying in my corridor saying she wants to live luggage but will give me the key back at the moment of picking up the luggage. People are too demanding. I have to strictly describe the rules for luggage.

I would say on our land, which is eastern europe, it's only 5 percents of middle class. The rest are poor, and 1,5% are extra rich. So, basically we are serving POOR middle statistical managers for a moment. As budgets in 90% of the companies are cut to the extreme now. So, people are trying to save on any extra step. It's falling down market and a bit different to what people have in other countries. But, expectations of a middle statistical management is like if they are being wives of presidents. In many aspects. Not just serving luggages.

I do not mind to serve western european students. These are ok. But when fully siliconed slavic escort girl is coming with an attitude that everyone owes her, that's pretty hard. Although on the other hand i understand that by reality of present economy the only chance given to 90% of locals girls are being prostitutes.

I was very surprised when local directors of the factories began to rent my room. Let's say, a room costs 20 bucks on a low season and 30 on a high season. The director of the company now has travel money for travelling like 25 bucks a day (reduced from 50 when the war began). And 1 room flat costs 38-50 bucks a night in my area.

So, on our land it's harder. No budgets, no real money. A HUGE EXPECTATION on the side of the client.

Thanks god I am already old enough not to keep all that weirdos in my mind.
