adding places to my guide book

I am trying to add places to my guidebook, as soon as I type in a place name suggestion come in a drop down menu. However if the place I want to add in not included in the drop down menu I can't find a way to add it. How do I do this?

I have the same question, I'd like to add something that's not on the drop down menu. Someone please reply......
