booking confirmation

Hi,

 

I have just accepted my first booking from the site for July. I have not received any return message from the guest since last night and am slightly nervous about whether the booking is verifiable on my part? The rental is only for part of the complex but the preparation before arrival involves a huge amount of work beforehand as the guest will have access to the whole area, pool, garden, bar/cinema, Jaccuzzi and Sauna, all of which have to be prepared and will involve outsourcing some of the work at my own cost.

 

I would appreciate any pointers as although I have experience in hosting and running villas before I am new here and want to make a good impression from the start.

Hi Guy, Firstly can I say what an amazing listing you have...I am sure you are going to have great success with your hosting offering quality of this standard!

As to your question, you say you have accepted your first booking! To confirm this booking go to your messages on your listing page  and you will note a message stream with this guest. The first thing you will see is 'Up-coming Reservations' and the guest will appear in that box. On the right side of that box will be a tab which says 'Print Confirmation'. By checking that line full details of the guest booking will be displayed including amount details and a booking confirmation reference number.

I would not be too concerned if you haven't heard back from the guest at this stage, they may be travelling and find it difficult to respond to you just now. It may be worthwhile to message the guest and say...'because of the extensive nature of the property and the grounds I require **** days notice of your arrival time so I can make all necessary preparations for you'!
