changing a long term reservation

I have a confirmed booking as guest from 1st May to 30th June. I want to change the check-out date to 31th May. How can I make the change without having to pay extra or getting penalised? Appreciate your help and advice.

Just ask the host to alter the check out date. You will have to approve the change and there should be no additional cost.
