fleas as a host

Hi everyone, horror of horrors, my place seems to have fleas.  I'm getting it fumigated tomorrow (23rd of July) but my first guest arrives on the 30th of July.  I am new to Airbnb and I don't know what to do.  I want to cancel everyone until I know it's all sorted but I'm facing lots of cancelation fees!  Any advice?  I have emailed airbnb but no answer as of yet!

Thanks!

a week between the fumigation and the first guest, should that not be enough? ask the fumigators, they will know their work better than airbnb!

I think 24 hours after fumigation is enough (depending on what they use I guess), and you have a full week. You will absolutely fine!

You will be fine - it will be as clean as a whistle by then... but do ask the company what caused the infestation. Fleas need a 'food' source and don't tend to survive without one for very long - or do you mean bed bugs which survive longer between meals (ouch)
