Booking for another person

Hello everyone! How it looks like when guests make a reservation for her husband. Is it allowed? Thanks

It is against Airbnb policy to accept 3rd party bookings. If the husband doesn’t have an account, he should create an account and book himself. If he does have an account, maybe he’s hiding some less-than-perfect history.

Not to mention, if anything happens at the property during the stay, AirCover and/or the hosts insurance policy may not cover it if the registered guest is not the person staying.

I 3 guests instead of 2 as booking says and none of them are the person who booked my property

Airbnb saying that if I cancel it will be on my behalf

There’s a few broken house rules and it is my fault

CC is advising you incorrectly if it's a third party booking which you weren't aware of when they booked and they are breaking your house rules Airbnb should cancel penalty free.

Call back and speak to them again quoting their relevant policies @Patricia4250

Hello @Olena70

@Pat271 is 100% correct in everything they have said but If you want to send the official Airbnb link to this person explaining why you cannot accept a third party booking here it is:

I may be coming from a different planet, probably I am, but I have never, ever have given a second thought whether wife books for her husband, parents for children, grandparents for grand children, Earth people for Aliens, etc. 😎
