How long does it take for a property to be available again after a booking request expires

If the booking request expired, which can happen then the dates on the host calendar should free up after that 24 hour period has elapsed.  You can send the host another booking request unless of course the dates have been booked by someone else in the meantime.

According to his calendar it’s still booked I’ve tried messaging him but no response

As @Joelle43 mentions, if the dates show "unavailable" this means the host has:

1. Accepted another reservation for those dates
2. Blocked those dates

This means you will not be able to send another booking request, as those dates are no longer available.

Unfortunately I have been unable to rebook the property as it’s unavailable for my date
