Checked in Guest Not Responding

Current Situation: I have a ABnB room in a shared home booked for 3 nights. There's a camera outside on the front door, so can I see that the guest arrived. Up to her arrival she's responded to every communication pretty quickly. She'd told me that she was in the area to visit a college campus nearby. Since she's checked in she hasn't left her room and hasn't responded to my morning after check-in message. I'm concerned that she's okay. I thought I might send a message that requires at least a yes or no response, but don't want to be intrusive. Any suggestions?

Hi @Kathleane0

Your question is well-worded - if I were you, I'd copy and paste it in a message to Airbnb support (text, don't phone). This is to see what they advise you should do in the morning, but also to put their response on record (just in case there's any privacy complaint from the guest, you have the Airbnb reply in writing).

Let's hope all is well for both you and the guest by check-out time!

Adding on to the question above - I sent a message from within the ABnB app and she has not read it. Tomorrow is her check out day. If I don't hear anything from her and the camera shows she has not left the property and yet it's past the check out time, am I okay to knock and enter the room?

Thank you Stellenbosch. I did end up calling them (before I saw your message) and their direction was that if my outside camera didn't show her leaving this morning that I could knock on her door, but not enter the room. Then contact them and they would give it one hour past the check out time and do something. What they would do, I don't know. My biggest concern was that my guest was okay and not sick (or worse). I wanted to send her a message, but not be intrusive. What I ended up doing is to send a message thru the ABnB app, asking if she planned on taking an evening shower (she had done that on her first night here), so that I could turn up the water heater which is colder at night. She responded to that, so I knew she was okay.
