Cleaning fees

What do you say when a perspective guess ask you to waive the cleaning fee because they want to do the cleaning themselves

As linen are provided and I have Covid 19 cleaning procedure, I answer that it is not possible unless they plan to do all the laundry and the covid 19 cleaning as ruled on the Airbnb procedure. They usually understand.

@Regina776 I have never had this question, but if I did I would send the guest the ECP and see if they wanted to change their mind.

I agree however there's no guarantee she would clean it to standards before she left

When a guest asked me to waive the cleaning fee, I said we couldn't do that, and then asked them how would they feel about staying in a space where the cleaning was left up to the previous guest.  That was a lightbulb moment for them, because their was something like, "Yeah, you're right.  I understand."
