Two days before booked arrival, 8 people, we have received a request if its ok to bring two extra people with a campervan to park at the house? The two intend to sleep in the campervan. Otherwise be with the booked part. How should we act??
Hello @Elisabet2167 ,
Are they going to get electricity from your house? Use your bathroom? Your washing machine? Your kitchen? The answer is probably yes to all of these.
Consider charging your usual rate for each additional guest per night.
Alternatively, you can divide the total host payout by 8 and multiply it by 2 to reflect the cost for two additional people. Submit the request through the Resolution Center, and it should be paid by your primary guest.
A thing to realize you do not have a legal agreement about the use of the camper van. It could hold 2 people or 8 people. You can set only 2 use your bathroom but do you want to monitor and alternative arrangements for the renaming people would scare me. I suggest you nicely find some camp site rentals.
Just be honest I am not set up to accommodate campers and 48 hours doesn't afford me enough time to review legal and insurance requirements. Here are some nice accommodations near my rental.
Personally I would say no and direct them to your nearest campervan site.
tell them it would invalidate your insurance so won't be possible .
