Is it appropriate?

For me to stay in my home while guests are there?

Yes, it is appropriate, and it is wonderful!

I am a home share host, and I have stayed all over the world with home share hosts.

Not only does it make for a richer experience for guests, it all but guarantees that house rules will not be broken. In fact, my permit to host requires me to be present at all times when guests are here. Definitely hassle free and stress free hosting.

Safety issues are taken care of. We are in California too - earthquakes, weather and fires are a reality. Who is better qualified to take care of our guests in one of these situations than we are?

Home share guests are respectful and it is great fun to really share with them!

Definitely go for it, and let us know how you like it.

@Eileen462 Absolutely yes. It is the original Airbnb concept and is sought out by certain types of guest.

You listing however is set up slightly wrong as it says 2 bedroom but the where I will sleep section only has the one bedroom. Always preview the listing to see what guests see and then correct the issues you will find.

Thank you @Mike-And-Jane0  I am so new Im trying to figure out how to list!  I better edit thank and thank you for answering me!  I appreciate you!

I’d say no in terms where you are.

S B is well known for safety hazard affluent town.

However, if you have good capabilities of tenants screening, i’d say yes.
