My Host is trying to cancel

I have booked my stay on February 28th when my stay is May 26th. To stay in a very high traveled location for one of the busiest time of the year. I booked so far in advance for the security of having a place locked down knowing that nothing would be open at a later date. The host was super nice and excited for my booking. My booking is in two weeks and the host has sent me a message three days ago asking me to cancel my reservation. Saying that it’s not for an emergency reason, just for them wanting the place for themselves.  With this amount of time I wont be able to rebook anywhere else for that weekend. They did try to offer anther weekend before or after the date, but with half of my group flying in for the event im unable to change weekend. Is there a way that I can convince my host to not cancel my reservation?

@Brianna211 sadly not. They will however be fined by Airbnb and Airbnb should help you find another place - Do let us know if they do
