Quick Replies Update & Check-in Instructions Button Request - Attention Airbnb Developers

Dear Airbnb Developer Team,

I've noticed a recent update to the Quick Replies feature, and it appears to have a new look and feel. At first glance, it seems like a positive improvement.

Since you're actively working on this area, I'd like to take this opportunity to reiterate a request that has been discussed extensively in the community: the implementation of a dedicated shortcut button for check-in instructions within the Quick Replies feature, similar to the existing button for checkout instructions.

As you may recall from this thread: https://community.withairbnb.com/t5/Ask-about-your-listing/Check-in-Instructions-Link-Not-Working-Pr... we've encountered significant issues with the previous workaround using property ID links. This dedicated button would greatly streamline the process and improve the guest experience.

We believe this would be a valuable addition to the Quick Replies feature and would appreciate your consideration.

Since the Summer Release 2026 confirmed the check-in button in the update video was unfortunately just a mockup, I am closing this thread. To show developers how long this feature has been ignored, we are unifying our voices in an active thread from May 2023.
