trying to confirm the phone number entered on Airbnb for reservations.  Not receiving SMS code to enter for editing

No, I don’t seem to be able to receive The SMS to verify edit my phone number. 
when I check my number it is missing the 0 at the front. Should be

when I did get an sms it was 7 digits not 4.

I am not getting an sms or an automated phone message when changed to request it that way.
