Hey @Chad564 it's been a little while since you posted, I was wondering if you're still experiencing the same issues? If so, could you please provide some more information?

Additionally if you don't mind, could you try these following steps:

📌Log out (on all affected devices/browsers)
📌Close all browser windows/tabs (on all affected devices/browsers)
📌Open ONE new window (on all affected devices/browsers)
📌Clear cache and cookies and browser history (on all affected devices/browsers)
📌Delete & re-install app (if applicable)
📌Log in with your email from your account

Do let me know how you get on 😊

I've tried everything from new browser. Restarting phone. Deleting app. Reinstalling app.

I am constantly getting this message.

Having trouble replying to guests/enquiries and everything I try to do on listings comes back with this error.

Very frustrating. Can't operate hosting if this continues

going through the same issue, it is April 22,2024. It seems to be an issue for many users (based on reddit comments as well) I can't believe they are not able to fix this issue for 8 years...

Same issue 8 September 2024 in everything we try to do: reply to guest and support messages, payment requests, view any listing not only as Host but also in Travelling switch...

Hi Rebecca,  just like all the other hosts that reported this issue since 2016, nothing of the above you mentioned has worked for me also.

This is one of the errors:

Something went wrongUnfortunately, a server error prevented your request from being completed. Airbnb may be undergoing maintenance or your connection may have timed out. Please refresh the page or try again.

As you can see the above mentions a "server error" which obviously its not my phone, or laptop, or my cache or internet connection.

This happens every single time I try to access my Airbnb account, everywhere:  Trying to message guests, trying to view the calendar, the payments... even trying to book as a guest.

To make it work I have to refresh 5-10 times even to send a one line message to a guest.  Which as Im sure you appreciate, we cannot be spending 3 minutes for each line of message we send.  Also many times since this started to happen, messages do not deliver and we get the error and retry button.  You have to try many times for the message to be deliver.

And no it is not a local problem, a device problem or an internet connection problem... Various devices, various connections have the same exact issue if you login in our account....

This is affecting the guests now, which we will start explaining that there is an issue on the Airbnb platform as stated in your error message "maintenance issue", which Im sure its not as its been since 2016 as others reported.   Not nice to the guests not being able to send them a simple one line message!
