You have posted on the community center and to book a place you need to go onto www.airbnb.com if you are from the US.  

You have not added any information on your profile  so I can't see if you are actually from the US but otherwise Airbnb have a reservation site for every country.

Is there another way to verify? I realize you need to know it’s me but putting my drivers license or passport isn’t something I want on the internet. Any way it can be done another way that is safer. I’ve had my identity stolen once before and found out when I filed my taxes. That is something I never want to go through again.

@Constance154 if you don't want to verify then you won't be able to use Airbnb. It's really that simple.

This is a community of hosts and guests not Airbnb.

Airbnb use a secure third party to hold your identity details.

I do understand your concerns but if you want to use Airbnb you need to upload your identity for security and fraud reasons.

Yes, very much so. I had previously booked with Marty at CBC on FMB last March and paid her in full. She is now saying that she doesn’t have the money. It’s tied up. Whatever that means. She keeps saying they don’t know for sure that it won’t be open. 
i really want to try your place. It really looks lovely. Someone has sure done a nice remodel. Love it. It looks very warm and cozy. 
I could put down a deposit to hold Apt 1 until she refunds it.
