What do you do the guest take the towels and tell you that they did that?

My recent guests for my camper use the community showers in the campsite. Then they left. They texted me telling me they forgot to bring the towels back to the camper.
Should I do an air cover claim or should I charge them and if I do how do I do that?

Also, they damage the kettle on the gas stove by melting the cap…. Do I charge them to replace the kettle?

It seems so small I’m worried about using the air coverage because my experience with insurance is the more claims you make the higher it gets….? but maybe this is not true for air cover.

I sense your confusion over this...and my take is this. I'd be thankful that they told me about the towels. Perhaps you can retrieve them at the bathhouse, or the campground office. Otherwise just call it cost of doing business, and replace them. Same with the kettle. These things happen. Having spare towels sets is a necessity for wear and tear, stains, quick turnovers, etc. May I guess that the camper uses propane? It is much hotter than the gas in a house in town. Most people renting a camper don't know that.

Happy hosting to you, and may you have many more delightful guests.

@Rebecca2096 I would let it go. Its not worth the hassle and bad review a claim might cause.
