using a trust as payee

using a trust as payee

Does anyone have a suggestion for how to change payouts to a trust checking account in the U.S.?    I'm inputting all the correct information but once you put in the U.S. Federal ID number, I have to select either SSN or EIN before it will move forward and neither seems to apply to a trust.    Hoping there's an attorney or accountant out there who moonlights as an airbnb host!   Thanks for any assistance you can offer

When you opened the account what did you use? The bank needed a taxpayer ID number, so use the same number for AirBnB.

Not a lawyer, or tax accountant, just a fellow host with more than one taxpayer involved on Airbnb.

Thanks for your help!    I ended up finding answer in google.    I have the taxpayer ID but when you set up new payee, once you input tax ID number, you have to check either SSN or EIN and neither seemed appropriate for a trust; but in searches, I found that trusts use the EIN designation (which is employer identification number) for some reason.
