Accepting new travelers

Hi! I am new here and suddenly I had recently 3 very long bookings (1-2-3 months) to be accepted from my side. What is common to all 3, none was having correct name or a photo, all 3 profiles were made this month and when I ask for more information about travelers I get no reply. Profiles say they were verified by airbnb, though it seems weird they do not interact.

Is there some scam possible there? What do I risk not accepting them or do accept them? My calendar is free for the moment. Usually people asking for longer rentals were requesting some discount or asked for additional services, had their good ratings. Not like these ones.

Thanks for your feedback !

Nope. Why would you even consider accepting guests that do not respond to you, let alone for a longer stay? It's just asking for trouble.

RE the Airbnb verification process, I have learnt from experience that it is very lax indeed, so I wouldn't rely on it at all.

One thing I am not into is guests with 'secrets' making a mystery out of the whole affair. That is welcomed in detective stories, but certainly not in hosting.

@Katerina378  new hosts get scammed by these bookings. do not accept them.

Are you actually a host though? you have no listing attached to this profile.

Thanks Gillian! I have informed abnb about it and all 3 profiles were blocked.

You can not see my rental here as I have a different profile for my rental in Paris as it is managed by a concierge company.
