Help with Covenants

I am considering buying a second home for a vacation home. When we are not there, we would like to rent it as a short term rental. I noticed that many homes rent in the area under similar covenants. So looking for confirmation if i could rent or not with the below restrictions. We will not reside in the home when we rent it out. Thank you in advance for any help!

1. The Lots in the Subdivisions may only be used for single family residential purposes, recreational purposes, and associated purposes. The term "Single Family Residential Purposes" means use by a single housekeeping unit, operating on a nonprofit, non-commercial basis between its Owners and/or Occupants, cooking and eating with a common kitchen and dining area.

2. The Owner or Occupant of a Lot may engage in business activities in that Lot,  provided that the Owner or Occupant is occupying the residence on the Lot as his or her residence, the business activities are carried on inside the residence, and the business activities do not involve (i) visits to the Lot by customers, members of the general public, or more than one employee (ii) significant deliveries and/or pickups of materials or inventory to the Lot, and (iii) storage of materials, inventory, or work in progress outside of the residence on the Lot.

3. The Lots in the Subdivision shall not involve activities related to manufacturing or other industrial activities on the Lot.

It seems quite apparent that renting out the place if you are not living there at the time contravenes the covenant. I'm not sure how that isn't clear to you.
