Adding a co-host

I want to add my son as a co-host to my Airbnb listing, as I travel quite a bit.  This way the guest will know that I am not always there.  I followed the steps, however, I am not able to see the suggested links that are suggested.  Hence, not able to add him as a co-host.

Any suggestion?

thank you

Tone

Hi @Tone0 Does your son have a verified Airbnb profile yet? Even if you "invited" him to co-host, he will still need to register and verify himself in order to become an authorised co-host. Make sense? 🙂

Thank you Robert. Airbnb failed to put that very importanat piece of information in their instructions.

It seems complicated to add a co-host.  I have always been here when guests arrive and leave, but I need to leave the country for 10 days to take care of a family emergency.  My friend is not on Airbnb and doesn't really want to be.  Can I just do it informally by giving her contact information to my guests who will arrive while I'm gone?  She lives close by and will be available to greet them and answer any issues.
