Adjustment from five years ago??

Airbnb took a $300 adjustment out of my earnings for a transaction from 2014!! (It's 2019 now!) I hosted in 2015 too, so why didn't they take it out then? Has anyone else had a mysterious old adjustment pop up? I can't even corroborate that I got paid that money because it's from so far back. I've contacted customer service via chat and phone yet no one can explain this to me so far.

Hi Eva, this has just happened to me from 2016. What did you end up doing?

HELP!!! Airbnb took out as an adjustment 1,400 euros today in 2019 for the transaction happened in 2016!

There was absolutely nothing negative or wrong happened in year 2016.

Nothing that can be related to the following:

An adjustment is an amount of money a host owes as a result of a cancellation, reservation change, or violation of our Guest Refund Policy.

I have never CANCEL

CHANGED

Or violated the Return any policy!!!

I am in shoke right now.

I suspect it is some kind of scam!

If this is not going to be resolved, I am contacting my lawyer!

Extremely disappointed!!!

Have you all got any explanation from Airbnb why they too money out of your accounts? This is insane.

No, no explanation.  There is absolutely NO any reason for the adjustment of sny kind. The lady stayed in my newrly built apartment with all brand new furniture  for21 days! And I didnt get paid for this stay? I also had to pay her electricity and water for her??? I cannot believe it!

@Tara258What? Airbnb refunded her money of 21 days stay after a couple of years? Definitely you should sue Airbnb as @Lisa723 did in small claim court. Hopefully you will get your money back.

No. And no response yet to my small claims filing. If they don’t respond they will be in default and the court will order repayment.

@Alice595 @Eva720 @Tara258 @Deven0 in my case the recent clawbacks were from fall 2017. One was a 100% "adjustment" for a two-night reservation that was terminated on the second day due to extenuating circumstances. The other was not 100% and is completely inexplicable.

@Lisa723

Sounds more like straight-up theft, than "adjustments"..

@Susan17 yes, I don't disagree, especially since both of my support requests asking for explanation were simply closed without any.

@Lisa723

Did they even tell you which booking the second adjustment is in relation to?

@Susan17 yes and there is nothing out of the ordinary about that reservation or stay.
