Hi everyone, I'm very new to AirBnB and rentals as only started in March this year. Apparently I have to start a conversation to be part of the community so here it is and appologies if this query has been covered already.
I currently only rent out one room and my rates are low due to my location etc... However, i noticed a few days ago that my advertised rate was higher than I had set (was at my set rate when first started), this is down to the fact that AirBnB has added 4 euros as their own fee on top of my rate. Is this normal? If so they are getting more commision than Booking.com who take a fair wallop.

@Andy542 Airbnb deducts 3% fee from the host and adds up to 20% fee on the price for the guests (they calculate it based on several factors).
So if my bnb is being offered for 100 Airbnb takes 3% and then they charge the GUEST 20% more and they take that?
@Jim-And-Erin0 you can learn more about the fees in the link below
