Thanks. The host responded today and suggested I use the "cancel reservation" but if I do so, I lose all the funds.
I used Twitter help of Airbnb and they told me to go to the "AirBNB Resolutions" but there are only 4 drop down options, none of which match my case.
I also called the hotline call center, they promised that the fees will be used 100% for a different reservation and that someone will call me today to organize that but no one called 😞
This is getting way too complicated for a simple error in dates and trying to cancel after 5 minutes...
Any suggestions?
