@Gricel1 Have you contacted Airbnb? Doesn't sound like there's any point talking to the host anymore. Contact Airbnb. They may refund your money. It will be very helpful if your employees took photos of the filthy mess.
You say you thought you were renting the whole place. Is it listed as a whole house rental?
If this sort of thing should happen in the future, the way to handle it is to immediately contact Airbnb, telling them the place is unliveable, they will cancel the reservation and usually try to find you alternative accomodation. Best not to stay, as that lessens the chances of getting a full refund.
