Hello!
My guest says that he have no money on his card and he wants to pay in cash. How can I pay Airbnb fee myself?
Don't do it. There have been numerous case reports on the community of this kind or similar guest attempts to get the booking without going through the system. Their stories always inspire sympathy which especially new hosts are very susceptible to and then end up hosting them for a couple of nights. The guest keeps finding a way to detain payment and then - poof, they are gone with the wind.
If you host them anyway and take cash, it is against Airbnb's security system and you're also not covered in any way by them.
Tell your guest nicely to contact Airbnb because there is nothing you can do.
Don't do it. Very dangerous if they don't have money now how do you think they will be able to pay you when they get to your place. Once they have unpacked taken a shower eaten your food sat and watched your tv how do you think your going to get rid of them... trust me while your trying to be nice to this person you might miss out on a really nice person who really does have money to pay through Airbnb
Never take cash!
As already indicated above you won't be covered by the BnB host guarantee if anything goes wrong,
What would you do if there was a problem with your guest or they damaged your property?
What happens if you block the space out and the guest doesn't turn up.
There is no reason for an honest guest not to want to pay through BnB and every reason for a dishonest one to try and circumvent the system.
What reason is your prospective guest giving for wanting to pay in cash? How can the fees be paid to BnB if they are paying in cash?
