Change booking dates and refund

I want to change the date of my booking (shorten by i day) but the refund is not the same as the cost of one day's hire. Why not?

Because it depends on the host's cancellation policy.  If their cancellation policy is "Strict" you are entitled to a 50% refund (less Airbnb fees - those are never refundable) up until 1 week prior to arrival.

Thanks guys. It's not it's "flexible" hence I was expecting a full refund for the relevant night. Any ideas?!

It might be less the BNB fees, but if you want to check why not give BNB a call?
