Like @Emiel1 says, or you could put it down to the cost of running a business if not particularily costly linen.

Thxs Gordon and Jorge. She sneaked out of the house pretending that nothing happened. What's costly b 6edlinen? US$ 70-100. (SEK 700-1000) In Sweden that's the price for good quality.
@Christina94 Are you sure that the wine can not be washed out? I have had great luck with soaking linens in an OxyClean and detergent mixture for 12hours, and then washing in a machine.
@Susan151 Yes I am sure. The guest has tried to minimize the damage and made it worse. We're talking red wine... thxs anyway. It also bothers me that she sneaked out of the house. She could've said I'm sorry but not a word.
@Christina94 Oh I hate it when they think they are "helping" and only make it all worse. I do believe that it is a rare guest who lets us know about problems. I admire those that do, since they always look so embarrassed.
@Susan151I totally agree with you Susan! This is on of very few guests that I'm disappointed with. So I'm a lucky host. I've mostly had 5 star guests during all this years.
