Cover Photo view

Has anyone managed to work out how to change the cover photo so that it appears full size on the listing and not a bad quality zoomed in version of the first photo tied to the listing?

Please see the example on my listing: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/12270048?checkin=10%2F14%2F2016&checkout=10%2F16%2F2016&guests=2&s=vZmb...

Thanks

Krystyna

Hey @Krystyna1

I think the issue is that the original picture that you uploaded is of low resolution.

Here, check mine https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/13567058

It's 17.2mb in size and 4928x3264px in resolution

I'd say upload the original photo, or shoot higher resolution pictures.

Regards,

H.

Thanks @Harry22 - although I do notice that even on your's, the cover photo has lost some resolution compared to when you view the same picture on your photo stream

@Krystyna1  Have you requested the professional photographer through Air BNB?  I am very happy with the pictures taken.

What was the fee they charged for professional pictures if I may ask?

@Chris146  There is no charge for the professional photographer if the service is offered in your area.  Look at the article in the Help Center about professional photography.

Thanks. Shortly after I posted my question I found the link in the mobile app to request  professional photography.  Not too  hopeful they have anyone my area of Florida but I will wait and see what they come back with.

Same here, @Krystyna1! Arranging for the photographer was easy and very happy with the pictures! It does look a bit different as a cover photo, but not very distorted or unclear.

I would think you can also get them to come over for pictures in San Francisco! They guy who came to our place also had a profile on Airbnb and that's how he contacted us after the request was put in. Safe enough for me!
