Currency displayed

How do I change the currency properties are listed in? I live in UK and my airbnb used to be in GBP. But it is now in USD and I can't work out how to change it.

As I wasn't aware it is in USD I have just accidentally booked a house I thought was in AUD as it is in Australia and the price was in $. It was only when I received the email receipt that it showed it was in USD!! So the price of the property a lot more than I thought!! Now have to cancel.

So I need to change back to GBP so know exactly what I am paying as just showing a $ sign is deceiving.

The choosen currency is showed / can be changed at bottom of page (on right side).

The preferred currency is a setting in your profile, set it to GBP.
