Daily rate changed

Hi I am a host I have a booking for December Airbnb changed my daily rate it was R1500 you changed ot to R1404 and now I notice guest is paying R1115 per day this is unacceptable and was confirmed to my guest without approval from me

Please advise

I looked at your listing, but can't check prices, as there are no dates available for booking.

Did you apply discounts on your listing (special, weekly, monthly) ?

Airbnb normally does not change your prices. And if somebody books without approval, your are probably on "Instant Book".

 My daily rate was R1500 I have now blocked all my dates as am wanting to delist, been battling to delist please advise how The price was R1500 I did not request special price, this was done to me before and I ensured that it had R1500 per night, in December I received a booking and now noticed the price was changed tp R1404 a night and even less looking at what the person is actually paying hence want to delist my property not happy at all

You can snooze or deactivate your listing, it's in here how to do it:

You should check your listing for correct pricing, Airbnb is not changing yor prices. Maybe you have Smart Pricing on ? Just look at all your settings and setup the pricing properly.

Hi Emiel I went to check the smart pricing is clicked off and the base rate says R1500, the booking was done at R1404 a night and then dropped to R1115 per night I have just cancelled the booking the time period is prime time and I dont up my rates for prime time but definitely wont drop rate for this time period. I would like you to look into how this happened and refer back to me with a report

@Felicia56 If you canceled without calling AirBnB the dates will now be blocked and you can't rent it out at all for that timeframe, so you will earn nothing. Call AirBnB now and explain why you canceled maybe they will open up the days again.

Thank you I am trying to resolve the issue with the guest, I have indicated the rate per day if she still wants it at the agreed rate then it is theres, but what is concerning is that booking.com changed the rates twice without my concent? I was shocked when I saw the rate this is prime time.

1. I have it listed at R1500 per night with no smart pricing I was caught last year December with this and I honoured it. I ensured that the smart pricing was off and ensured that it had R1500 per night it is a large 3 bedroom aparment and sleeps 7 and everyone says that the rate is very low, I do not make it higher in in season etiher

2. I picked up that the guest booked at R1404 per night? wandered how this happened?

3. Then it was changed to a rate of R1115 per night? how is this possible I never changed anything I know we both want business and bookings to the benefit of both of us. Lets see what the Guest says. I would like to help them and dont want to ruin their holiday, what also I picked up is I request a R3000 security deposit it is on the listing (I delisted earlier) why is this not being charged?? the security deposit is for breakages and is refundable to be honest I dont really want to loose the income but I dont like these surprises?
